Will never book this Hotel again.
Good location.
Filthy carpet, toilet would only flush, after maybe three tries, breakfast was very bad only 1 small biscuit with milk gravy. Coffee was ok. Cigaret buds all over the place building and surroundings very dirty.

Impeccably clean and cheap place. The hotel was in a central setting close to everything. Again, the property was near a profit crime museum. The pool was nice too.
Unfortunately Wi-Fi was bad, and the bed was not very comfortable.

THIS WAS THE WORSE HOTEL WE HAVE EVER STAYED IN. THERE WAS TRASH EVERYWHERE ON GROUND AROUND SITTING AREA. CIGERETTS BUTTS ALL OVER GROUNDS. NO SMOKE DETECTOR IN ROOM. WE HAD NO TV FOR 7 HOURS. TRASH CAN VERY DIRTY, AND HAD NO TRASH BAGS. OUTSIDE LIGHT FIXTURES BROKEN. BATHROOM VENT VERY DIRTY. REFRIGERATOR WAS VERY DIRTY.. CARPET DIRTY. BATHROOM DIRTY. TOILET TOOK 3 TIMES TO FLUSH. NO WATER PRESSURE. CRACK AT BOTTOM OF DOOR ABOUT A INCH OPENING, ANYTHING COULD CRAWL IN. WE TALKED TO THE MANAGER ABOUT OUR CONCERNS, SHE WAS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, AND JUST LAUGHED, AND SAID WHO CARES YOU ARE ON VACATION. JUST HAVE FUN..... THIS WAS THE WORSE HOTEL WE HAVE EVER STAYED IN. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE STAYING AT THIS HOTEL. POOR SERVICE, AND VERY DIRTY.. LOTS OF THINGS BROKEN.. THINK TWICE BEFORE STAYING AT THE AMERICANA INN AND SUITES IN PIGEON FORGE TENN.. I HAD TO CALL FIRE DEPT. BECAUSE THERE WAS NO SMOKE DETECTOR IN THE ROOM.. VERY UNSAFE.. ELEVATOR VERY DIRTY.. THE WORSE EXPERIENCE OF STAYING IN A HOTEL. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL MANAGEMENT..
VERY DIRTY, NOTHING WORKED RIGHT, AND SERVIVE WAS TERABILE..SECURITY LOCK BROKEN, OUTSIDE LIGHTS BROKEN.. TRASH CAN DIRTY, AND NO TRASH BAGS.. REFRIGERATOR VERY DIRTY.. TRIED TO DIECUSS THE PROBLEMS WITH THE MANAGER, SHE WAS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. ACTED AS IF SHE COULD CARE LESS.. LAUGHED AT OUR CONCERNS. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. IT IS AWLFUL....
THE WORST HOTEL WE HAVE EVER STAYED AT...

Everything! This was the worst stay I have ever had in a hotel. I froze to death, I slept in my coat and clothes because it was 25 degrees outside and the heater did not work properly. Customer service was non existant. She did not even give is directions to our room, we had to find it our selves. There was mold around the shower curtain and waste in the bathroom waste baskett. The bed was king sized with queen sized blankets on it, and the stuffing was falling out of the pillows provided. I did not have a pleasant stay at your Hotel. I will not recomend this place to anyone......ever!!!!!!. I have emailed the corperate office and yet again , customer service is non-existant! In fact they claim that this hotel is no longer affiliated with the Howard Johnson Franchise......I Don't blame them though I wouldnt admitt to it either!

Room was clean and comfy. It was super centrally located! Great for walking to attractions. The porch area was a lovely plus, just perfect for sipping tea!
The bathroom lights were a mystery and the door was about as secure as a paper bag! I felt safer in my grandma's backyard!

2Nd room we were given was very nice and comfortable. Loved the rustic log furniture.Bed was great. Enjoyed having breakfast at the hotel most mornings and not have to get in the car and stand in line at a restaurant.Had a very nice stay and would definatly stay here again!
We received a phone call while traveling that the lobby was closing and the key was being left in the mailbox by the street. They were very nice about it. I had called earlier to let someone know we were running late. I didn't think a chain hotel would close their lobby for check in. When we arrived the room was not at all what we reserved. We reserved king this was 2 queens, needed non smoking due to allergies, this was smoking! The desk clerk was about to leave but she went back in changed our room and everything was fine!

No wash cloths, room not cleaned til 4pm in evening, then bed was only spread up, we had to make the bed when we got there. Same thing the next day, spread was put on but sheets not straigtened out. Ice machine has coin taker but wouldn't give ice, when we ask they said you don't have to put coins in but wouldn't refund our money, some one is making money on it. Breakfast only consisted of hard bagels, when ask if orange coffee pot was decaf, was told they were both regular coffee, good thing I ask. Carpet was very dirty. We will never stay at a howard johnson again.

Not for the luxury seeker, decent for a family stay
The staff seemed friendly enough, even when I had to fix my own door issue with some bolts I picked up from Walmart. I enjoyed how close it was to all the attractions.
It wasn't the cheapest stay considering the issues we faced, but still acceptable for the price I guess.

Not much
Heat did not work and it was snowing outside. Could watch it snow under the door. Moved to another room, heat worked but was very slow heating the room. No extra blanket, had to ask, was given 2 thin spreads instead of a blanket. Asked about the breakfast and was told "I don't know if she is cooking this morning or not". Never saw anyone in the room , so she must not have cooked. Never even saw a donut. The toilet did not flush good.
